Summary: Future AU in which Kurt and Blaine did not meet in high school. Kurt is a pastry chef who runs his own little West Village bakery called BUTTERLUSH. Blaine is an accountant who stumbles—literally—upon the sweetest thing ever.

I have so, so many good things to say about this fic that I’ve been sitting here for two hours trying to come up with all of them; mostly because this fic deserves only the highest of high praise and also the most whimsical, beautiful language you can imagine speaking when you’re doing the praise. I probably won’t even do it half the justice it deserves with this rec, but I’ll try.

Bakery AUs are always incredible, but this one has blown me away completely. When I read the chapters, it honestly feels like I’ve been dragged into another world where everything is better and happier and comes served with a side of butter and sugar and love. The writing is a gorgeous mix of the quirky, beautiful Pushing Daisies with the love story of Kurt and Blaine and it is honestly extraordinary.

I haven’t done it any justice but I promise, you won’t regret reading this at all. You’ll be swept away by Kurt and ‘Trice and Blaine and Butterlush and you’ll walk away wanting to make every single recipe you’re given at the end as well as a happier person.
